The 2021 International Training Workshop on CNC Technologies for Developing Countries Hosted by HuazhongCNC Officially Opened
On the afternoon of 1st, November, the 2021 International Training Workshop on CNC Technologies for Developing Countries, hosted by the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology and jointly organized by Wuhan Huazhong Numerical Control Co., Ltd. and the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering of HUST (Huazhong University of Science and Technology), officially opened. The opening ceremony of the international training workshop was grandly held in a combination of online and offline methods. More than 30 trainees from Malaysia, Pakistan, Russia, Nigeria, South Africa and other countries participated in the opening ceremony online simultaneously. This is the fifth time that HuazhongCNC has undertaken the CNC technology training courses for developing countries sponsored by the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology since 2004. This will further promote HuazhongCNC to actively deploy overseas markets and achieve international and domestic synchronous development.
On the opening ceremony, Mr. Sello Sethusha, the director of the Teachers Division of the Ministry of Higher Education and Technology of South Africa, and Mr. Yury Molokanov, a student representative of the Russian Bashkir Machinery Manufacturing Center Co., Ltd., delivered speeches on the training through video. They said that, with the rapid development of China’s economy and the implementation of the “One Belt, One Road” strategy, the level of development of China’s industry has attracted widespread attention. They are very grateful to the organizers for providing the CNC technology learning chance, which will inject fresh blood into the CNC machining field of their country and open a window for international exchanges and cooperation.
More than 80 trainees from 16 countries in Southeast Asia, America, Eastern Europe and Africa have been enrolled in this International Training Workshop on CNC Technologies. Due to the spread of the new crown epidemic around the world, this training adopts an online teaching mode that integrates theory and practice. The teaching and research team carefully arranges training courses, including special lectures, cloud visits, remote practical training, and group discussions. The course content covers the principles and development trends of CNC technology, CNC system operation programming and processing, intelligent manufacturing technology and applications, traveling in Wuhan, Chinese traditional culture, etc. We strive to be novel in form and rich in content, so that each student can achieve what he has learned and apply what he has learned. Participating students will have 20-days online learning. After the course, they will be awarded a certificate after passing the final exam.
