Huazhong CNC Announces The World’s First Intelligent CNC System

On 12th, April, Huazhong CNC 9 Series Intelligent CNC System was officially released during the 17th International Machine Tool Show in Beijing. It is the world’s first iNC intelligent CNC system with independent learning and independent optimization and compensation capabilities.

“The system integrates AI chips and AI algorithms to deeply integrate new-generation intelligent technologies such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things with advanced manufacturing technologies. Following the new mode of ‘autonomous perception, autonomous learning, autonomous decision-making, autonomous execution’, real intelligence has been achieved” said by Chen Jihong who is the chairman of Huazhong CNC.

Chen Jihong said that its most essential feature is the ability to recognize and learn. Compared with previous products, the original command domain big data analysis method collects and aggregates the internal electronic control big data of the CNC system and the external sensor data to form the command domain. “Electrocardiogram” realizes the association mapping between big data and processing conditions. At the same time, self-learning and cognitive understanding of the dynamic behavior of the machine tool can be realized, and the processing effect can be predicted. According to the prediction result, multiple rounds of optimization iterations can be automatically carried out to realize independent decision-making.

High speed and high precision is the eternal theme of CNC machining. The higher the machining speed, the greater the contour error. How ensure the machining accuracy of parts during high-speed machining is one of the problems that need to be solved by the intelligent CNC controller. Through the comprehensive application of intelligent technologies such as spatial error compensation, intelligent temperature control, and intelligent curved surfaces, the system has improved the machining accuracy of scroll compressor parts for new energy vehicles to within 0.006mm, reaching the world’s advanced level, and realizing the dynamic accuracy of machine tools.
